Zac Davis

Admissions Recruiter

Hi there! My name is Zac Davis. I am from Beckley, West Virginia, but I went to college in eastern North Carolina to study and explore student ministry. After four years of learning and experiencing ministry at Mid Atlantic Christian University, I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Youth and Family Ministry as well as Biblical Exposition. My journey took me from eastern NC up to Chantilly, VA, where I entered into a residency program at a church and worked with the high school students there. My wife and I moved to Johnson City after God opened so many doors of opportunity, and then Milligan University became the place where we live, connecting and growing with the students here on campus.

My job as a recruiter is to take what I have learned over the past several years and help guide students into this next chapter of life. At Milligan University, there is so much opportunity to learn, grow, and experience what God has for you. Let me know how I can help you in this process today!

Chelsey Harness

Admissions Coordinator for Athletics

Hi! My name is Chelsey, but you can call me Chels. Originally from Erwin, TN, I was a student-athlete (basketball) at Maryville College and graduated in 2019 with my BS in Health and Recreation. I also earned my MS in Sport Management in 2020 from The University of Tennessee. My time as a Scot and a Vol set me up for success as a Buff.

I enjoy traveling, watching sporting events, and spending time with family and friends . . . oh, and long walks on the beach.

I hope Milligan can be a place you come and make lifelong college memories! As you navigate the college admissions process, I would be thrilled to assist you in any way possible. As a former student-athlete, I understand the rigors of becoming a college student. I am here to help make the process a smooth transition. Please feel free to call or email me at any time with questions you may have.

Rebekah Saylor

Admissions Recruiter

Hello! My name is Rebekah, but I typically go by Bekah. I graduated from Milligan University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in May of 2021.

During my time at Milligan, I participated in Concert Choir, Women’s Chorale, and the acapella ensemble “Heritage.” Less than two months later, I applied for this job at Milligan!

The beauty, community, and the atmosphere of this university had a great impact on me as a student and as a person, and I hope that I can have an impact on prospective students in their journey towards higher education and their next chapter in life.

About me…I enjoy singing and making music, reading, hiking, and going out to eat in Downtown Johnson City.

My Favorite thing about Milligan…The beautiful campus, the professors, and the Christmas Concert (though, I am a bit biased towards concerts and fine arts).

I work with…First-Year Students with last names letters L-Z; Honors Students and Fine Arts/ Performing Arts Students

Gus Morgan

Assistant Director of Enrollment Communication

Hi!  My name is Gus.  I am originally from the Atlanta, GA, area where I was on staff as an executive pastor at a local church.  My background prior to ministry was in business management, both small business and regional retail banking.  I am a graduate of Clayton State University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and hold an MBA from Milligan.

I found Milligan after relocating to Johnson City with my family and can attest to the beauty of the surrounding mountainous landscape and southern hospitality of the community!  Milligan is a wonderful place, full of exceptionally bright people on a mission to promote servant-leadership.  I share that mission and was drawn to working with the Milligan team!

As you navigate the college admissions process, I would be more than happy to assist you through the process and answer any questions you might have.  Please feel free to call or e-mail.  I look forward to working together!

Alex Kees

Enrollment Communication Coordinator

Hello! My name is Alexandra, but my friends call me Alex.

Northeast Tennessee has been home for many years. I graduated from Lee University with a Bachelor’s in Biology and then went on to attend Milligan where I earned my Master of Education degree. My career started as a teacher, but I feel so incredibly blessed to now be given the opportunity to work with the admissions team at Milligan. A student of Christian education my entire life, I firmly believe in the mission of Milligan University.

I love traveling, writing, singing, and hosting dinner parties and movie nights for my friends and family. I love living in the mountains of Northeast Tennessee with my dog Bilbo, and I love the community atmosphere at Milligan. Not only does Milligan boast a beautiful campus, but it is also home to some of the most inviting and loving people.

I hope you will consider joining the Milligan family! If I can be of any assistance as you embark on this journey, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
