Molaskey observed and coached Milligan students as they performed select Broadway hits. She also assisted Milligan’s cast during a private rehearsal of Songs for a New World, providing valuable insights from her experiences performing this show Off-Broadway.
“It was a pleasure to have Jessica visit Milligan to share her extensive knowledge of musical theatre that ranges from performing on Broadway to working with talented directors, music directors, and composers,” said Dr. Carrie Klofach, assistant professor of musical theatre..
“Her visit provided an invaluable experience for our students and community. Singing for Broadway performers and composers as a student helped me along my own path, and these connections help performers build bridges into professional work.”
Molaskey is a veteran of a dozen Broadway shows, including the revival of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s Sunday in the Park with George, which was nominated for nine Tony Awards. She appeared in A Man of No Importance at Lincoln Center; Parade, directed by Hal Prince; Dream; Tommy; Crazy for You; Les Misérables; City of Angels; Chess; Cats; and Oklahoma!
