Hi there potential Milliganite!

My name is Fitzroy Harris. I am from Montego Bay, Jamaica. I lived there most of my life until Milligan found me in 2010 and offered me an athletic scholarship. I am your Admissions Counselor who will make your college application as seamless as possible while we get you prepared for your life changing experience at Milligan.

I graduated from Milligan in May 2014 with a major in Business and a minor in Communications. I also ran track for four years. Those four years were the most transformational years in my life and the Milligan experience made it possible. You too can have the same, and even a better, Milligan experience.

Rachel Owens

Admissions Counselor

Hey everyone!

My name is Rachel and I will be your admissions counselor! I am so glad you are interested in Milligan and I can’t wait to share it with you!

I graduated from Milligan in May 2013 with a degree in accounting and psychology. During my time at Milligan I was a Goah Diversity Scholar and a member of the dance team (Go Buffs!). I am a native of East Tennessee, so Milligan was always right next door. However, it wasn’t until I became a student here that I realized how special this community could be. The lifelong friends and mentors I met at Milligan provided me with experiences and blessings that are irreplaceable. Milligan offers a variety of outlets so that you can engage in personal interests while experiencing the interests of others within the community. If you decide to invest in Milligan, you gain an education and a family.

Choosing the right college can be difficult and overwhelming, but it is also a time to experience many exciting possibilities! I hope to make your transition as smooth as possible. If you have any questions, concerns or need prayer for your decision please feel free to contact me at 800.262.8337 or RAOwens@milligan.edu.

My name is Austin Chhut and I will be your Admissions Counselor! I am excited to hear that you are interested in Milligan and will help you as you consider what the next step in your life is.

I graduated from Milligan in 2015 with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Biblical Studies. I grew up in the Washington D.C. I have learned and grown so much both inside and outside the classroom over the past years. While at Milligan, I was a Resident Assistant and a part of the Betty Goah Scholarship Program. The community on campus is unlike any other and so enriching. Milligan is truly a special place I have come to love—and I hope you will come to love Milligan as well.

Finding the right college is a difficult choice, but there is no need to worry since myself and other admissions staff are here to help you along the way. It was not too long ago I was in your shoes; so I know what you are going through and will assist you as much as I can. Nina Williamson

Admissions Counselor

Hi Friends!

I’m Nina, your new admissions counselor! I am absolutely excited you are considering Milligan.

I graduated from Milligan in 2015 with a degree in English and Psychology. Milligan was always my first choice. As soon as I met with teachers and staff at Milligan, I knew this was going to be a wonderful place to call home. I spent my time at Milligan working with our campus International Justice Mission chapter, enjoying all the Res Life events, eating lots of Cookout quesadillas, and hiking throughout the mountains of East Tennessee.

At Milligan your classmates, friends, and even professors turn into a big family. The love and support here is palpable. Milligan offers you the opportunity to expand your worldview, think critically, and grow in your faith.

Choosing the right college is a big decision. You don’t want to take this lightly, and neither do I. I will walk alongside you every step – whether it be choosing the right major, working on financial aid, or just wondering, “What am I getting into?”

Please call me/email me if you have any questions, concerns, need prayer, or encouragement – 423.461.8767 / cmwilliamson@milligan.edu.

Talk to you soon!
